Dale Earnhardt was a very proud American and this is a very special collectible diecast set of the famous #3 in the Olympic Paint Scheme. Both the Monte Carlo and the Pickup were autographed on the top by Dale. This is a very treasured collectible. VERY SHARP!
Dale Earnhardt was proud to be an American, especially in an American Olympic year. He was also proud of the Olympic Athletes. This set is a tribute to the Atlanta Olympics in 1996. He drove this special paint scheme at the Winston Select. The paint scheme is applied to the Chevrolet crew cab "dualie" as well. The trailer in this set is reminiscent of the types of trailers that were used to transport race cars in the early days of stock car racing.
This is a valuable set for many reasons. First of all because it is a real tribute to the Olympics by one of the biggest stars NASCAR will ever have. To have this great set in any collection autographed by Dale Earnhardt is super. It does come with a certificate of authenticity.
Manufactured by Brookfield Collectors Guild in 1-25th scale. It is beautifully done.
